Recap VIETTELDX TALKS #8: AI Is Knocking, Are Vietnamese Businesses Ready?
A three-guest talk show, in Vietnamese, on how businesses can start with AI. My part came down to four points: start early, platform, people, and information security.
The full recap is in Vietnamese: đọc bản tiếng Việt.

This one was a talk show, not a talk: no slides, three guests, in Vietnamese. VIETTELDX TALKS is a series by Viettel Solutions, and episode #8, “AI gõ cửa: Doanh nghiệp Việt đã sẵn sàng?” (“AI is knocking: are Vietnamese businesses ready?”), was released on 14 August 2025. You can watch it on YouTube or on the Viettel Solutions website.
The premise is that a business doesn’t need to be big before it adopts AI; it needs to take the right first step. I was one of three guests, alongside Nguyễn Quang Tuấn (AI and Data Analytics Expert, Viettel Solutions) and Đặng Văn Đức (Business Development Director, Intel); I joined as Cloud Platform Expert, Viettel Cloud. Below are the points the show put on screen for my part.

Start early. AI is no longer a question of “whether”, but of “deploying as early as possible”.

More than compute. Viettel Cloud provides more than raw compute: a complete AI ecosystem that is secure, efficient, operated and supported by an experienced team.
People. To close the AI talent gap and use the government’s policy framework, a business can assess its real needs and current staff, upskill its team, and use the ecosystem and policies around it.

Security. A business urgently needs its own AI platform, to reduce the risk of losing information security.
